Would you like to help a young child succeed in school? FLI tutors help elementary-aged students read up to their grade level. Please consider volunteering to help a young child become a skilled and passionate reader.

Our coaches provide one-to-one tutoring for 2nd to 5th grade students who test one or more grade levels behind in reading and are referred by their teacher.  As a coach, you can help students build their skills and interest in reading. Your support will give students confidence and help them succeed in all of their studies.

Tutoring takes place Monday through Thursday between 4:30 and 6pm . The tutoring schedule is:

Monday: Lawton Elementary AND Pittsfield Elementary

Tuesday:  Lakewood Elementary AND Parkridge Community Center

Wednesday:  Lakewood Elementary AND Parkridge Community Center
